Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered into a search form are sent to the outside provider that supplies its results. Hillside Residents Directory does not keep its own copy of those search entries. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may create standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
The limited information described above is used to run, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the site. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Sites and Search Tools
Links may lead to Hillside Township, Union County, New Jersey, library, archive, and third-party search services. Their own privacy notices govern information submitted after leaving this site. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside provider, not by Hillside Residents Directory.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process technical logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described in this policy. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise allowed by law.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and operational logs are retained only for as long as needed for the purposes stated here. Because there are no visitor accounts, the site does not hold an account password or user profile for visitors.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by a website. Since we retain little, a request normally involves reviewing the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing information we find where appropriate. Use the Contact page to make a request. Government records are outside our control. In New Jersey, release and access to public agency records are governed in relevant part by the Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., along with record-specific confidentiality laws. Requests about those records belong with their custodian.
Policy Changes
We will post any revision to this policy here. Continued use after a revised policy is posted means you accept the updated terms.
